Wolfram Burgtorf is hard of hearing from birth and has received no musical education. Yet he has the music project rooted in Cologne Solarissound created and worked as a freelancer for 25 years movie musician for numerous (some excellent and premieres) arte and ARD, WDR documentaries.

With the exception of Wolfram Burgtorf and his company Paco Saval, the cast of Solarissound is constantly changing. Both made it onto the sampler “Secret Love” in 2004 with the track “I Still Have Time”, put together by Jazzanova & Resoul. Solarissound's songs are largely created in long evening music sessions, from which individual fragments are combined to form a track. The resulting rather unconventional song structures can be classified as Neo Soul and Experimental Music.
