The "moon mountains" of Africa are located in the border area between Uganda and the Congo. The region has recently been under protection as a national park and world heritage site. This means that hunting, which has been a tradition here for centuries, is also prohibited. Filmmaker Marcel Kolvenbach accompanies Matovu, a man of the Bakonzo hunter tribe, on his way to a new life. The former poacher now leads European mountaineers as a tourist guide to the legendary peaks of the Mondberge.
