As a film musician, the boundaries between music and sound design are fluid for me. For me, the noise of an air conditioner has the same dramaturgical meaning as a piece of music composed in the classical sense. I like to let the two flow together. I value an open, unobtrusive style that gives the film the greatest possible effect. Although I am hard of hearing from birth and have not received any musical education, I have been working as a freelance film musician for numerous documentaries and film projects (ARTE, ARD, ZDF, WDR, SWR, MDR and NDR) for about 25 years. In addition to film composition, I am working on my music project with changing musicians solarium sound. The latest EP “Fortune” was released in August 2023
